Belleville against racism.

Japanese fashion designer Hakuyo Miya's workshop is located in the 20th arrondissement of Paris, in the Belleville district, where he has been living for the last 14 years.

Sometimes called Paris' own "Chinatown", it is a historic and popular place where people of all social and cultural origins, all national origins and all religious beliefs come together in harmony.

"When I first came to Belleville, I was immediately stunned by the mix of these very different cultures: Chinese, Algerian, Tunisian, West African communities, living together, sharing and bringing life to the neighborhood. Fourteen years later, that seems completely normal to me, even essential. But this beautiful harmony is threatened by stupidity and hatred. Belleville is fighting against racism. ""
